The photo in the puzzle is of a baby Pygmy Marmoset, the world's smallest true monkey. These tiny creatures easily fit in the palm of your hand and live in the rainforest of South America. They are very social and travel in extended family groups. A newborn Pygmy Marmoset is less than three inches long from the top of its tiny head to the tip of its tail! They like to eat fruit, insects and small reptiles, but especially like to eat the sweet sap of rainforest trees. Marmosets have specially designed teeth and jaws, perfect for chiseling shallow depressions in tree bark to collect little pools of sap, which they then lick up!
