The world's smallest monkey, the Pygmy Marmoset weighs barely more than a stick of butter, yet its grip and gaze carry the same weight as any of its larger cousins. Illustrated here suspended among vines and blossoms beneath a crimson sun, in the spirit of Japanese ink painting.
Part of RSCF's Ukiyo-e Series, each design supports the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation's work protecting species on the edge of extinction. RSCF's pygmy marmoset colony has been self-sustaining since 1985.
